OPENING DAY ITINERARY - FRIDAY, June 19th at Bakersfield Park!

FRIDAY, 6/19: LET THE FUN BEGIN - THIS IS "THE BEST DAY IN BASEBALL!"

Gates Open: 3:00 PM

Show your team spirit with the best team tailgate of the year! 

(Please Note: no grills on grass surfaces)

Coaches Check-In:  4:00 PM - 5:30 PM (Coaches, see Coaches Info page for details)

Activities: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM 

Activities include all SKILL CHALLENGES, the PARADE of TEAMS and OPENING CEREMONIES!

PARADE OF TEAMS & OPENING DAY CEREMONIES: 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM

(Parade Line Up is at 5:45-5:55 at the RF Foul Pole on Field #5)

Most Commonly Asked Question: What do the players wear on Opening Day? Most players will wear their team jersey, and hat, and shorts! (Some may wear full uniforms,  it's all good.)

SKILL CHALLENGES 

Please Note: The Skill Challenges and Various Activities happen in Two Flights; Before and After the Parade of Teams/Opening Ceremonies and will be CLOSED from 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM. (NOTE: See Skills Challenges Page for all of the DETAILS!) 

THERE IS NO PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED THIS SUMMER! 

BEST TAILGATING

Judging: Our Judges will be actively roaming the park during the afternoon and will do official judging after the Parade of Teams and Opening Ceremonies event.  The winning tailgate will be named by 7:30 PM and announced during the Coaches Fungo Challenge. 

Prize awarded will be: a $100 Gift Card to Flurry's  Market + Provisions

THE NATTY FUN ZONE

This is the Main Vendor Area around the PG MERCH TENT!

Featuring the Wiffle Ball Home Run Porch (which will be on field 3), Corn Hole for all, Pin Trading Zone, & Vendors.

The HomeSmiles WIFFLE BALL Home Run Porch opens at 4:00 PM, goes offline during the Parade of Teams and Opening Ceremonies, and resumes again from 6:45 AM - 7:45 PM. (Thank you, HomeSmiles for sponsoring this event.)
