COACHES INFORMATION PAGE


COACHES/TEAM MANAGERS:


PLEASE  READ & REVIEW CAREFULLY. ALL OF THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO KNOW. 

The Coaches Information Page is designed to cover critical information for Coaches and Team Managers regarding COACHES CHECK-IN, and the COACHES MEETING.
 

2026 COACHES CHECK-IN & ROSTERED PLAYER FEE INFORMATION:


"COACHES CHECK-IN" will take place at Bakersfield Park on Friday June 19th, from 4:00-5:30 PM. 

Coaches Check-in will be: First Come First Served.

LOCATION at Bakersfield Park is the Main Baseball Pavilion overlooking Field #3, adjacent to the parking lot.  NOTE: The Main Baseball Pavilion general area will also serve as the hub of THE NATTY FUN ZONE featuring the PERFECT GAME MERCH TENT, AND THE "EXIT VELO" CHALLENGE, etc.  

Check-In Time slots are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, so get there early to ensure the most time spent with your team!


Required PRIOR to Check-In:

  • All players who will be playing on your team during THE PERFECT GAME WORLD SERIES - THE NATTY TEXAS STYLE must be listed on your official Perfect Game Roster (on the Perfect Game website); and each of those players' guardians must have completed the standard PG online roster waiver  before the event:
  • Rosters and Waivers Must be Completed by: THURSDAY June 18th, 2026. (by 11:59pm)
  • If a player is not on your official PG roster by this date they may not play in the PERFECT GAME WORLD SERIES - THE NATTY TEXAS STYLE event. PLEASE NOTE: Players do not need to be present at the Coaches check-in.
  • Coaches MUST ALSO ENSURE their PG insurance is UPLOADED & APPROVED on the PG website.


Required AT Check-In:

To keep the process moving efficiently, please approach the Check-In Table ready to verify your PG Roster,  and  be ready to pay the Rostered Player Fee. YOU ARE NOT BRINGING ANY PAPERWORK THIS YEAR! 

All rosters/waivers are done online via the Perfect Game website, and must be completed by the deadline stated above.

  1. Coaches are strongly encouraged to have a copy of each player's birth certificate. Be aware that if a grade exception challenge or roster challenge occurs, you will be responsible to present a copy of the paperwork and B/C on site at the time of the protest. Failure to do so will result in the player being deemed ineligible. It is the Coaches responsibility to have a copy of the paperwork and B/C. 
  2. The Tournament will provide printed copies of your Perfect Game APPROVED TEAM ROSTER at check-in. You will verify it, sign off on it, and pay the rostered player fee. Please Note: Rosters are LOCKED on THURSDAY and PRINTED on FRIDAY. NO NEW PLAYERS CAN BE ADDED AFTER THE ROSTERS ARE LOCKED. This includes NO NEW PLAYERS CAN BE ADDED AT CHECK-IN.
  3. Coaches MUST ENSURE their insurance is UPLOADED & APPROVED on the PG website. Teams without approved insurance on the PG website will NOT be allowed to participate. Insurance MUST BE APPROVED prior to you check-in date.
  4. Coaches MUST ENSURE each player has a completed the standard PG Roster Waiver form. This MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ROSTERS LOCKING. Those must have been completed online in advance (as referenced above by the respective date for tournament play). Any player without a completed waiver will be ineligible to participate in the tournament. These Forms WILL NOT be provided at check-in. Make sure all players are registered in advance and have completed the waiver and are in the system by the cutoff dates listed above. 
  5. Coaches MUST PAY your team's Rostered Player Gate Fee at Check-In. The Rostered Player Fee MUST be paid as a single payment per team, and must be paid via PG SQUARE  at time of official check-in on Friday. This admission fee applies to ALL ROSTERED PLAYERS.  The fee is $75 per rostered player. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO DAILY ENTRY FEE, NO PARKING FEE, AND NO ADDITONAL GATE FEE WILL BE CHARGED OR COLLECTED.  The Rostered Player Fee covers everything for you, your families  and your fans!
  6. Each Head Coach will receive their official Coaches Credentials at the Coaches Check-In.

Bakersfield Park - Main Baseball Pavilion (overlooking Field #3)

1201 Duncan Lane 

Flower Mound, TX 75028 

4:00-5:30pm, First Come, First Serve.


Rostered Player Fee VS. Traditional Gate Fees:

No Individual "Per Person" Gate Fees will be collected, only the Rostered Player Fee of $75 per approved player on your official PG Roster. The rostered player fee covers anybody traveling with the team; parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives, friends, neighbors, etc. The rostered player fee is required for ALL registered/rostered players playing in the PERFECT GAME WORLD SERIES - THE NATTY TEXAS STYLE, regardless of number of games played, etc. The Tournament Directors and the Site Directors, will be checking rosters daily at all locations. All Rostered Player Fees must be paid prior to the start of the tournament (at Coaches Check-In), and any failure to do so will result in (i) the unpaid player(s) being removed from the tournament, (ii) the current/upcoming game being forfeited, and (iii) the coach/manager suspended for the 3 games. A second violation suspends the team from the tournament. The rostered player fee applies to ALL APPROVED ROSTERED PLAYERS.

Awards:
Champion and Finalist will receive awards for each Rostered Player listed on the official team roster turned in at Check-In.


2026 COACHES MEETING

The Coaches Meeting will be held at Bakersfield Park, and promises to be short. Meeting will be hosted by TD and UIC.

The Mandatory Coaches Meeting will be held at:
LOCATION: Bakersfield Park (Location is the LOWER BASEBALL PAVILION, between Fields 1-4)
ADDRESS: 1201 Duncan Lane, Flower Mound, TX 75028.
TIME: 6:45-7:15pm (IMMEDIATLEY AFTER the Parade of Teams & Opening Ceremonies)

COACHES FUNGO CHALLENGE:

7:30pm  on Field #5! 


Game Balls:

PG/KC&BO are PROVIDING GAME BALLS for THE NATTY. All teams must be prepared to supplement game balls if needed.  Any "quality" brand is fine.   Teams will supplement new game balls during the game with quality game ready baseballs. Perfect Game will have baseballs on sale at the PG MERCH TENT for the tournament!


BEHAVIOR AT EVENTS
KC&BO has a Zero Tolerance policy towards disrespectful and adverse behavior. Fans, parents, players or coaches will be ejected for such behavior towards a tournament official, or umpire or towards another team or within teams, etc.. Any FAN OR PARENT ejected must immediately leave the facility & is ejected for the full tournament. There is no ejected today, come back tomorrow. Coach Ejections are “ONE + ONE” (active game, PLUS ONE additional game). Behave and it's not a problem. Furthermore, depending on the severity of the behavior the ejected person may be subject to a permanent ban. Good Sportsmanship is critical, and is especially needed in today's youth sports environment. Remember these are GAMES played by CHILDREN. KEEP CALM & BASEBALL ON!


SPORTSMANSHIP

Each Head Coach is responsible for the sportsmanship of his entire team, both players and parents and also his assistant coaches (and fans). Please always make sure to demonstrate GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP so that these young athletes see a good example presented to them. KEEP CALM & BASEBALL ON!


INTERACTION BETWEEN COACHES AND UMPIRES
Please remember, only Head Coaches interact with the umpires regarding questions, appeals, rules challenges, etc. (The two Head Coaches and the two Umpires only, no assistant coaches.) Assistant coaches must refrain from this and allow the Head Coach and the Umpire to work through any issues that may arise. KEEP CALM & BASEBALL ON!


RULES

We play by the rules listed on the Perfect Game website. 

Exceptions will be noted during the Coaches Meeting.

Sick/Injured Player: If a player is removed from a game due to sickness or injury, the lineup is simply compressed. (If removed by ejection, and no legal substitute is available, an out will be declared each time the ejected players spot comes up in the batting order.) If an offensive player is removed from the field of play due to an injury/sickness (e.g., a player breaks ankle after safely reaching first base), he will be replaced on the bases by a legal sub, or by the last batted out. This exception is used to promote player safety and in the spirit of fair play. 


Additional Rules Notes:
We do not allow metal cleats on any turf fields or temporary mounds, or in the batting cages or soft toss stations, or in our Pitchers and Catchers Practice Venue. BF7 and BF8 have turf mounds.
Additionally, metal cleats are only allowed at 13U and up.

Tournament Format format is a five (5) game guarantee.  Four (4) game pool play, followed by single elimination bracket play.

Tournament format, including game times (length of games) may be altered by the Tournament Director.
